I am exhausted.
Jayne and I were at Perth airport around 3:30pm Wed 12th Nov doing the check-in thing. Were we excited? Yes. Excited about going through immigration, boarding the plane (which was late in leaving) and staying up all night.
Staying up all night?? Yes, our trip required a transit in Singapore from 9pm - 1am (Spore local time) before boarding our next flight to Kansai International in Osaka.
It was rather rainy on our descent into Singapore. You could feel the humidity straight away but the terminal was well ventilated and a good temperature. Had some food to eat and just hung out taking some random photos. Lots of good fun in time wasting.
While we expected the flight to Singapore to be full, it was actually pretty empty and full on the Singapore to Osaka flight. Crampy, tired people wanting to sleep, flight attendants who insisted that you eat breakfast at 5am as it was time to. Yup, that was it.
So we arrived and we had to go through immigration and customs and a 71 minute bus ride to Aimee's apartment where Jayne and I lugged 23kg and somewhere close to 20 kg up the stairs to Aimee's apartment on the third floor.
That is why I'm knackered. But my stomach can't stop reminding me too that it's VERY hungry and I should find something to fill it with. Yummy smells pervade the air. What to do?
Jayne is having a rest on a futon next to me as I type. As she's not the type to sleep on a plane, she's getting some shut eye. This is unlike me (although I AM TIRED) as I'm more inclined to shut eye whenever and wherever I can - even while standing up on moving trains!
So that is all for the moment.
