On Saturday, Jayne & I joined Aimee and her friends for a hike up Mt Rokko. Yup, I was SO totally unprepared for it (yes insert unfit here) and I just made it up the mountain. Nevertheless, it was an experience that I won't forget in a hurry. While we were having a quick break for a snack/drink, I managed to capture this photo.
I didn't really think it would turn out to be such a good shot but after getting home and looking at it on the computer, I realised how good my 50mm f/1.8 lens really is. As long as you figure out how far away you're supposed to stand from the object. That is my biggest problem currently. I get too many unfocussed objects. But that is all. It will come with experience.
I can't actually believe I took this photo. Yup it really is mine. Sweeet.
