I got this at Gary's Blog (not the Hillsong one)
"They are in the flesh, but they do not live after the flesh.
They pass their days on earth, but they are citizens of heaven."
Now that does really challenge me... it kinda did a STAND OUT when I was reading through.
"In the flesh, but they do not live after the flesh."
Therefore, it suggests that it is not by the way we feel but by what is right. When do we follow what is right and not what WE feel is right? I know I struggle with that concept. Just the fact that I have to tune out of what I'm feeling (which can be almost impossible sometimes) to what I know is the right thing to do. We are dying... we are actually rotting away as we speak... as we die to our sinful selves (with JC's help) and as we get closer to the day when we actually get to the point where the rotting escalates.
For those who didn't get that, that's when you're dead...
Anyway I'd love to be at Hillsong... or Sydney for that matter of fact. Even Melbourne would do me... I'm in the mood to just be away for a while... not long... a few days but still just to have that adventure, going away feeling- it gives off an air of excitement and you feel like things seem to be slightly less realistic. By realistic, i mean routine such as daily things to do such as work, study... etc.
