Gripes with telephone companies.
Just dealt with two very different Virgin mobile help centre ladies.
One just kept repeating that I was ineligible blah blah blah even though I asked her 3 different questions. I had to actually tell her to STOP and listen before she went OH... well that's just blah blah... Yes I did tell her that she needed to listen to the question before she opened her mouth (politely of course...)
The lady she transferred me to went out of her way to help me, spotted things that Virgin had missed and weren't crediting me with and is currently filing out a report to ensure I get paid what they owe me (she told me I would get an email in 5 days but rang me back just to let me know when she realised it was more like 14!). That showed initiative and even if nothing comes of the report, she has ensured that I will continue to support Virgin Mobile for a while longer (it's been 10 long years now...)
I have to admit I am tempted to keep ringing back until I get someone who will help me out or will seek to change the situation. This isn't the first time where I've had an unhelpful person only to be transferred to one who totally solved my problem altogether (without any hassle!)
Well, I am much happier now. Even a little giggly when the second lady rang back 4 times within 10 minutes apologising profusely because the report was so detailed she had to ask me for more information.
And the timer on the oven just went. That means there's some choc zucchini bread waiting to be tasted. I'm off.
