Have found myself in the midst of an obsession with food. Not really eating it, rather creating a dish from scratch. It's exhilarating, stressful, therapeutic and oh so rewarding when the dish comes out and it makes someone else happy.

Always thought I was allergic to pumpkin. Would get a headache which usually turned into a puke-fest so I avoided it like the plague. However, it was cheap at Coles on Monday. Yup, I'm a sucker for specials so I decided to bite the bullet and risk spending my night with my head in a bucket.
Ah the joy of watching my bro in law inhale his risotto and asking if he could have seconds. Yes, that was definitely a proud moment for this n00b cook.
Not sure how long this will last but I'm happy to stay in this phase for a while longer.
