Japanese keyboards suck!

Right... I've discovered a few things about Japan that I may not like so much right now....

First, the keyboards suck. basically the space bar is half its size and if i usually use my right thumb to space, then well, i keep changing the language to kanji and its PLAIN annoying!!! arrggghhhh but i guess im learning where the apostrophe and alias signs are now.... so crazy!!

well, left Japan today. Went to yokohama for a half day tour and i have to say its pretty amazing! Lotsa photos and its by the bay. Millions of cars waiting to be imported and the bay bridge thats like San Frans.

Took the shinkansen late avo to come down to kurashiki. It's basically past osaka and himeji but before hiroshima on the train line. Its a small town- welcome pace from the absolute craziness of Tokyo.

For all my ravings on wonderful toilets, some of the older train stations still have the traditional jap drop toilet. Smells, is gross, no toilet paper in some. *sigh* i guess there goes my theory that ALL toilets in Jap are awesome.

But i LOVE macha green tea ice cream here and the strawberry milk tea which u can get sachets for is pretty awesome too.

Tomorrow is time for a hanami- picnic under the cherry blossoms at Himeji-shi at the old imperial palace. Time to eat, drink and be merry. Should be fun!!

Lotsa photos but its pretty crazy loading it on other computers so you'll just have to wait a tad longer.
