It's a welcome feeling when you get an unexpected compliment or when someone says something about you that you'd never expect them to say.

I think compliments are great but they usually are due to something you've done (such as done a task well) but when someone says something that is about you, it usually means that there has been more than a superficial relationship, and that you are valued for who you are, not what you do.
