Hey it's March already... almost like... Autumn.... YAY it rained- i ABSOLUTELY love rain- do I see heads nodding and a general approving sound? But whether you approve, it is the time it starts getting colder, and wetter... and when you'd rather not get out of bed...
Which means Easter's around the corner!! What are the 5 things you think of when you think Easter??
Here's a quick thought list...
1. Good Friday... which is good cos there's a holiday YAY a LOOOOOOOONG weekend =D
2. But doesn't mean that uni's off cos uni's just go through everything for some apparent reason... although i think they've decided to put the break then, out of respect. Good thing i say.
3. Chocolate... who doesn't think of chocolate when Easter's mentioned?? I'm wondering what new creations they're coming up with this year. Anything with chocolate and some form of nuts (no i'm not allergic to nuts) is good. but yeah... expanding waistlines Hello!
4. That means term 2 is around the corner... or the holidays just before that anyway... so either way, kids are everywhere, and for me personally, that's starting to get scary just cos I have to start working with them soon. (yes I am a studant- student teacher)
5. Last but certainly NOT least!!! Jesus Christ on the cross... What does that mean to you? It means a lot more than I think of most of the time- It shows a passion, a purpose, a desire and a lot of pain, suffering and just really thought provoking stuff. This man had it all- He took all the sin of the world on His shoulders, of which none was His and decided that He would do it even though He knew it would be excruciating. All because He loved every single one of us and wanted to repair the bridge that had been broken. Because of His obedience to His Father (who asked it of Him) all was made right and we no longer have to sacrifice animals to ask forgiveness. Rather, we can run straight TO Him, who receives us with open arms. Pretty amazing hey? Well, if you're interested in the story, head on over to www.biblegateway.com or type in bible in Google and when you get to the search page, get to Matthew, Mark, Luke or John... read all if you can. There you will get the real picture.
Now there's my entry for the day... have a great one.
